We are afraid we would not be able to offer you the option of refunding the fares paid back into your account. The same offer of converting the fares paid into an Online Credit Shell will remain. For your information we are currently looking at the refund options, but this is only for our guest that are directly impacted by the Earthquake and not for those who haven’t flown to Haneda.
Good day and thank you for writing in to us. With regards to your request below, we would be able to offer you with 2 options with regards to your flight to Haneda. The first option will be to reschedule your flight to a later date at no cost. However the revised/new travel dates has to be within 30 days from your original departure date. The second option will be to cancel the booking and convert the fares paid into an Online Credit Shell. This credit then can be used to make new reservation on Air Asia or Air Asia X flights. Below are some details on the usage of the credit shell: 1. Login to www.airasia.com with your login id and password. Place the booking as normal. The credit shell will be available for you to utilize upon reaching the payment page. If the amount is more than credit shell you may pay the balance with your credit card. 2. The balance left will be the amount for you to utilize on the following options: • Make new bookings, pre-booked meals and baggage. • Make changes to an existing bookings, pre-booked meals and baggage. Lastly, kindly take note of the following: • It is valid for 90 days. • Once expired, it will be locked by the system and it is not extendable. It is applicable for AK, FD, QZ and D7 flights.
